Color Doppler ultrasound results of erectile dysfunction patients after an intracavernosal injection of prostaglandin E1: an analysis of 9,109 cases
Key Points
Erectile dysfunction patients showed significant correlations between CDU parameters and the age of the participants.
Of the 9,109 cases analyzed, persistent erection rigidity significantly influenced the CDU results.
The observational analysis utilized color Doppler ultrasound to assess arterial conditions after prostaglandin E1 injection.
This analysis suggests that understanding these parameters may guide effective treatments for erectile dysfunction.
Abstract
The CDU parameters were found to be correlated with age. Additionally, the communicating branches between bilateral cavernous arteries and persistent rigid erection significantly affected the CDU results.
