New chalicotheriid fossils are recovered from the four sites of the Siwalik Group in Pakistan. The age of the sites ranges from the late middle Miocene (ca. 14 Ma) to late Miocene (7 Ma). Taxonomically, the fossils identify to a rare chalicotheriid species Anisodon salinus. However, the metric variations present in the dentition reported to this species, indicate the presence of another chalicotheriine species in the Siwaliks. The collection of more material and the reassessment of all the material allocated to this species will lead to the determination phylogenetic relationship with chalicotheriids of other regions.
