The "Ne Zha" animated film series, Ne Zha: The Birth of the Demon Child and NeZha: The Demon Child Roars in the Sea, deeply integrates traditional cultural relics symbols in character design. The "boundary beast" character is inspired by the bronze human head from Sanxingdui and the bronze mask from the Jinsha Site, which not only achieves a modern translation of cultural relics elements but also resonates with the contemporary audience's aesthetic through fun adaptation. This article takes Jiejie Beast as the research object, and systematically analyzes the extraction logic of Jiejie Beast on the core elements of Sanxingdui and Jinsha bronze cultural relics from the perspectives of three-dimensional modeling symbols, material symbols, and cultural symbols; Furthermore, from three aspects: reconstruction of cute shapes, transformation of decorative functions, and adaptation of aesthetic styles, this paper analyzes the interesting adaptation strategies based on preserving the core of cultural relics, and summarizes the inspirations of such adaptations for the revitalization of cultural symbols in Chinese comic character design. Research has found that Jiejie Beast, through the path of "precise extraction of cultural relics+ deep integration with modern aesthetics," has not only promoted the youthful dissemination of Sanxingdui and Jinsha cultures, but also enhanced the cultural and commercial value of IP, providing a replicable paradigm for the animated revitalization of ancient Shu civilization cultural relics.
