The main types of laboratories are physical and virtual ones. In the practice environment, laboratory work is vital in Classical education because it gives the students valuable hands-on experiences and skill development. Virtual laboratories have proved to be a vital part of education, most especially during the COVID-19 pandemic, in ensuring the continuous flow of education. This work examines the use of advanced control methods, cultivated with artificial intelligence, in tank-level control and the use of cloud computing for industrial plant simulation. Predictive control with neural networks and reinforcement learning control were developed and integrated into a remote laboratory platform to support interactive, hands-on learning. The remote labs are revising the control education of modern times by being more interactive, accessible and having hands-on practice. The remote laboratory platform is the instrument that makes knowledge more democratic. It is an inseparable part of the present-day curriculum and includes the latest technology, as a result, it makes the students capable of coping with the tasks of the industry and substantially improves their skills in systems control, as well as their theoretical knowledge. Although this study primarily focused on developing the remote lab environment, its potential to enhance student skills and theoretical understanding is significant. Future work will include structured assessments, such as pre- and post-tests and surveys, to evaluate its educational impact. By democratizing access to modern control education, the remote laboratory offers flexibility, accessibility and an effective learning experience crucial for studying systems engineering.
