Wireless networks, particularly Wi-Fi, have become essential in modern life. However, the growing capabilities of quantum computers pose a serious threat to the cryptographic foundations of current Wi-Fi security mechanisms. In this work, we provide a first assessment of how quantum computing affects the security of existing Wi-Fi protocols. We show that all examined Wi-Fi protocols are vulnerable to a CRQC. To ensure long-term security, these protocols must be adapted to employ post-quantum cryptographic schemes.
