The sugar industry produces numerous valuable by-products in addition to sugar, including bagasse, molasses, and press mud. Efficient cost management and value enhancement of these by-products are vital for increasing overall profitability in the industry. This research investigates the strategies active by sugar mills to control costs and improve returns from the utilization of by-products. By exploiting secondary data from published reports and industry records, the study evaluates operational practices, pricing trends, and market performance concerning sugarcane by-products.
