Drawing up educational policies is one of the basic topics that concern public policies in the state, due to its prominent role in aspects of human life after the cases of fragmentation, ethnic differences, sectarian, religious and intellectual conflicts that countries experience after conflicts ,Thus, education has become a fundamental axis that can be relied upon to spread the culture of tolerance and promote the values of recognition and coexistence among the people of one country. Therefore, successive Iraqi governments after 2003 had to confront these challenges and transform them into a source of strength and unity instead of turning into a source of weakness and division, by addressing the main problems that contribute to the decline of educational policies and the repercussions of that on the decline of the culture of tolerance in society, And to search for the best strategies to instill a sense of loyalty and belonging among the various components of society and to keep educational institutions away from politicization and political debates.
