Abstract

Necrotizing fasciitis is an aggressive but rare infection that involves the subcutaneous tissue and fascial planes, characterized by rapidly spreading cellulitis. The lower extremities and perineum are commonly affected, whereas the head and neck are rare sites. Necrotizing fasciitis of the face is extremely rare. Here, we present a case of necrotizing fasciitis of the face with facial nerve palsy.
