This Deliverable D4.5 “Final parameterized e-DSS” provides a clear overview of the final version of the e-SAFE Decision Support System (DSS), one of the ICT solutions implemented in the context of e-SAFE. The final e-DSS version is now available and it is accessible from any browser via https://esafe.eng.it using a registered account. The e-DSS is designed as a user-friendly yet robust tool that supports technicians in assessing the applicability of e-SAFE renovation solutions for a given building. It enables a preliminary evaluation of several key factors, including:• Current and post-renovation energy performance of the selected building.• Environmental benefits, particularly in terms of CO₂ emissions reduction (related to space heating, cooling, and domestic hot water production).• Estimated renovation costs and time.• Expected Payback Period of the investment based on projected savings in annual operating costs, plus the saved costs for avoiding possible damages for earthquake, where relevant.It is important to note that the e-DSS does not perform a detailed seismic analysis: indeed, structural improvements resulting from renovation require complex assessments that fall outside the scope of this tool. However, the e-DSS does provide decision support by suggesting the most suitable seismic retrofit solutions, considering factors such as seismic zone, building height and geometry, and the current condition of the reinforced concrete (RC) structure.
