The article proposes a system of graphic tasks, which is an important factor in the formation of spatial thinking and ideas of students in the teaching of drawing. It has been established that the use of graphic tasks makes it possible to realize the connections of drawing with technology and industrial production – reading working drawings of parts, assembly and construction drawings, taking into account some technological requirements in the execution of drawings and sketches of parts. When solving tasks, the formation of a holistic system of graphic competencies of students is ensured, which contributes to the use of acquired knowledge in the process of teaching other disciplines and in practical activities.
