Taking the topological characteristics of the three-dimensional single electromagnetic field as the core, Source Field Theory (Topological Unified Model of Three-Dimensional Single Electromagnetic Field) constructs a new theoretical framework of space-time and source field coupling. To clarify its theoretical positioning, clarify the innovation boundaries, and avoid ambiguity and cognitive deviation in theoretical positioning, this paper systematically compares the core connections and essential differences between Source Field Theory and classical Maxwell's electromagnetic theory, as well as relativity (special and general relativity). It explains the inheritance and breakthrough of Source Field Theory from traditional theories, proving that Source Field Theory is an original system based on traditional physical theories and innovated to address the limitations of existing theories. By defining clear theoretical boundaries, this paper clarifies the academic positioning of Source Field Theory, further improves its academic system, and provides clear theoretical basis and positioning reference for subsequent related research, academic citation and journal submission.
