The aim of this study is to examine the moderating role of social media addiction in the effect of happiness on the perception of boredom in leisure. The study was designed using a correlational survey model. The study group consisted of members of youth centres in the province and districts of Karaman (n=431). The Oxford Happiness Scale Short Form, the Perceived Boredom in Leisure Scale, and the Bergen Social Media Addiction Scale were used as data collection tools. Confirmatory factor analysis, correlation analysis, hierarchical regression analysis, and multi-group analysis were applied in the analysis of the data.
