This study revealed a significant aging trend of voice disordered patients in NHIRD, which is more prominent compared to the background population. Clinical practitioners should be familiar with common voice disorders, especially more severe conditions such as VCP and LC. Distinct practice and referral patterns within individual hospital might alter the diagnostic and aging trend of voice disorders, and may not be representative of the general population.
