The vision of Viksit Bharat@2047 represents India’s goal of becoming a developed and prosperous nation by the 100th anniversary of its independence. While India has made remarkable progress in areas such as economic growth, technology, and infrastructure, many challenges still remain. Poverty, unemployment, gender inequality, and uneven access to education, healthcare, and digital resources continue to affect large sections of the population. This paper explores the role of social development, social equity, and social inclusion as essential pillars for achieving truly sustainable growth. Together, social development, equity, and inclusion aim to raise living standards, provide equal opportunities, and involve all individuals in social and economic life. The study also highlights key government programs like the National Education Policy (2020), Ayushman Bharat, Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana, Digital India Mission, Skill India, PM-Kisan, and Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, which support inclusive growth. By focusing on these areas, India can create a society where opportunities are available to everyone, ensuring prosperity and well-being for all citizens by 2047.
