The Mei-Writing Spring Camp is a newly launched international program designed to integrate academic writing, logical thinking skills, and intercultural collaboration in an intensive, experiential format. Building on the long-standing success of the Mei-Writing Summer Camp in Japan, the Spring Camp extends the initiative to Singapore, thereby broadening its scope to a more global and multicultural context. This paper introduces the background, conceptual framework, and practical implementation of the Mei-Writing Spring Camp. It also examines the program’s educational design and reflects on its potential to serve as an alternative model of a study-abroad program that addresses both pedagogical and structural challenges commonly associated with conventional overseas programs.
