The study investigated the influence of research database accessibility on use of library by postgraduates in public universities in South-West, Nigeria. The study adopted a survey research design. The population consisted of 17,576 postgraduates in eighth public universities in South-West, Nigeria. Taro Yamane’s formula was used to determine the sample size of 399. However, 10% of the calculated sample size (40) was added for attrition. Therefore, 439 copies of the questionnaire were administered while 401 were filled and returned. Multistage sampling technique was used to select participant. Data were collected using a structured and validated questionnaire. Data were analysed using descriptive and inferential (multiple linear regression) statistics at 5% significant level. Findings revealed that research database accessibility had positive significant influence on use of library (R2 = 0.43, β = 0.49, t(1,399) = 17.52, p < 0.05) by postgraduates in public universities in South-West, Nigeria. The study concluded that research database accessibility can enhanced library utilisation by postgraduates in public universities in South-West, Nigeria. It was recommended that university library management should prioritise more investment in digital and robust ICT infrastructure, including stable internet connectivity, reliable power supply, and remote access systems that foster an enabling academic environment that promotes use of library for research productivity and academic excellence.
