Objective. To determine the safety and efficacy of prednisone in patients with symptomatic heart failure (HF) and hyperuricemia. Methods. Prednisone therapy was administered for a short time to 191 symptomatic HF patients with hyperuricemia (serum uric acid > 7 mg/dl). Results.
