Pulsars, FRB and magnetars may have a common origin and be special cases of the Josephson pulsar model proposed earlier. Coherent radio emission is generated inside a neutron star in ‘‘weakly coupled’’ proton superconducting microstructure by eddy currents in Abrikosov filaments. It is partly absorbed near a crack entrance, accelerates particles and escapes through cracks in the crust along a strong magnetic field into the magnetosphere, forming the directional pattern and observed pulses. In fact, ‘‘laboratory layered high-temperature superconductors with the internal Josephson effect’’ are today model analogs of the discussed ‘‘the Josephson radiating vortex filaments inside the neutron stars.’’
Yu. A. Kovalev (Mon,) studied this question.
