In addition to presenting with cardiomegaly, pericardial effusion and ventricular hypertrophy, fetuses with LUTO demonstrate LV diastolic dysfunction and appear to redistribute cardiac output as compared to control fetuses, which may contribute to the development of left-heart hypoplasia.
