Both eight‐membered carbocyclic rings and 1,2,3‐triazole rings represent vital structural motifs. In this article, we present a Pd‐catalyzed tandem reaction that facilitates the synthesis of fused eight membered carbocyclic ring‐fused 1,2,3‐triazole derivatives from 2‐iodophenyl‐enones and propargylic ethers bearing azidophenyl group. Furthermore, we show that TBD plays a pivotal role as a mediator in converting the Sonogashira cross‐coupling intermediates into the desired products.
