Amphibians are among the most threatened groups of vertebrates on the planet and have important roles in ecosystems. Secondary forests are the most common type of forest on the planet and will become more important in the future with change in land-use patterns and restoration efforts. Understanding how amphibians use and persist in secondary forests is thus a conservation priority. This resource contains an implementation Plan, Teaching Notes and assessments that were used in implementing the online module, Cold blood and wet sking in hot and dry secondary forests for an online synchronous Biology course. The content of the module related to curriculum topics such as amphibian diversity and secondary forests.
