Our findings demonstrate substantial editome dysregulation in FECD, highlighting a role of ADARB1-mediated IGFBP7 recoding in promoting cell apoptosis and dysfunction, and providing insights into the epigenetic mechanisms underlying FECD and potential therapeutic targets.
