To compare the efficacy and safety of cryoablation and microwave ablation for treating stage I non-small cell lung cancer.
Comparative study design
Assessment of therapeutic efficacy and safety
Evaluation of intraprocedural pain levels
Both cryoablation and microwave ablation demonstrated comparable therapeutic efficacy and safety.
Cryoablation resulted in reduced intraprocedural pain compared to microwave ablation.
Abstract
For stage I NSCLC, both CA and MWA demonstrated comparable therapeutic efficacy and safety. However, CA offered the advantage of reduced intraprocedural pain compared with MWA.
