This paper undertook a critical appraisal of the intractable Niger Delta conflicts and crises in Nigeria which has made life unbearable for all the stakeholders in Nigeria’s social and economic spheres: the government, the foreign oil corporations, the oil workers and the oil bearing communities. The aim was to unravel some dynamic community relations and crises management strategies that could be employed for addressing the problem. It is a non-empirical situation analysis report (SAR) that relied mainly on local and international literature search on the crises, added with visits and observations of the area for first-hand knowledge. After a collation and analysis of the situation therefore, the author went ahead to marshal some dynamic community relations and crises management recommendations for effectively arresting the problem, based on the social-cultural peculiarities of the people.
