An area of c.1ha was stripped mechanically under archseological supervision and all archaeological features investigated by hand. a watching brief was maintained during groundworks in another smaller area (0.17ha) and two additional evaluation trenches were opened. The main features relate to late Roman occupation (complex farmstead) and land division and medieval ditches, probably for drainage.
