Cosmological Update Dynamics (CUD) v4 extends the structural network framework by introducing a selection mechanism governing outcome realization. Previous formulations describe physical reality in terms of structural states and their transitions within an underlying distinguishability field. In particular, CUD v3.2 establishes a ψ-network representation, where quantum states correspond to structural configurations and their transitions form structured paths. However, while structural dynamics determine the space of possible outcomes, they do not specify how a particular outcome is realized among competing possibilities. CUD v4 addresses this limitation by introducing a selection bias term, ω, defined on ψ-networks. This version extends CUD v3.2 by introducing a mechanism that determines which structurally allowed outcome is realized.
