E1P in Genetics: When the Genetic Code Stops Being a Catalog and Becomes a Coherent Creation Engine

This paper maps the four DNA nucleotides to Energetic First Principles (E1P) phase characters: adenine = Identity (AA) cytosine = Polarity (CC) guanine = Flow (CA) thymine/uracil = Separation (AC) The mapping derives from three orthogonal IUPAC classification systems (R/Y ring structure, S/W hydrogen bond strength, M/K functional groups) and converges with thermodynamic parameters and functional roles documented in peer-reviewed literature. The helio-location vector H (x) = (hAA, hCC, hCA, hAC) provides a complete phase-coordinate description for any DNA sequence. Worked examples demonstrate that regulatory element function (TATA box vs. CpG island) is predictable from phase composition alone. The framework resolves long-standing puzzles: why ATP monopolizes energy currencywhy CpG is a mutation hotspotwhy synonymous substitutions produce 5–100× expression differenceswhy poly-A stabilizes while poly-T terminates These facts, previously catalogued separately, become derivable consequences of phase assignments.
