This record presents Version 2.0 of the FAAE Instrument System — Applied Variants within the Cesar Sosa Cognitive Framework Series (CS-CFS). Version 2.0 introduces finalized, fully functional fillable instruments (AcroForm-based PDFs), consolidating the FAAE system as an operational methodological framework within the CS-CFS. The FAAE (Formulário de Avaliação de Acompanhamento Educacional) is a structured methodological instrument designed for qualitative, longitudinal, and interpretative observation of cognitive mediation processes in educational contexts. This version includes a standardized set of FAAE-based instruments organized into three complementary variants: 1. FAAE — Scientific Instrument A research-based observational tool used for qualitative, longitudinal, and interpretative analysis of cognitive, behavioral, and interactional patterns. 2. FAAE-AE — Student Self-Assessment Instrument A structured self-assessment tool designed to capture the student’s subjective perception of engagement, learning processes, and cognitive experience, using accessible and non-technical language. 3. FAAE-NAPNE — Institutional Applied Variant An institutional adaptation designed for educational support contexts (e.g., NAPNE), focusing on identifying pedagogical barriers, learning difficulties, and support needs. This version consolidates: - Terminological standardization of FAAE (Formulário de Avaliação de Acompanhamento Educacional)- Alignment with the CS-CFS coding system (PH.D08-25)- Consistent use of conceptual constructs such as the Hummingbird Effect- Functional implementation through fully structured fillable PDF instruments All variants derive from a shared conceptual matrix and preserve methodological coherence while adapting language, structure, and application to different contexts. Linkage to Registered Scientific Outputs The FAAE is epistemologically and methodologically linked to the following registered outputs within the Cesar Sosa Cognitive Framework Series (CS-CFS): https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.19992550 These records establish theoretical continuity, methodological coherence, and progressive validation of the system, supporting its traceability and integration across research and applied educational contexts. This work is part of the Cesar Sosa Cognitive Framework Series (CS-CFS), representing an original methodological system with associated theoretical constructs and DOI-linked scientific outputs. The FAAE is not derived from existing standardized instruments and constitutes an original contribution to educational assessment and cognitive mediation frameworks. © V. G.
