This Record presents new U-Pb geochronology results from nine geological samples from India. The work was conducted under the auspices of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between Geoscience Australia (GA) and the Geological Survey of India (GSI), operative between September 2015 and August 2025. This MOU was established to pursue scientific and technical cooperation in the field of Earth Sciences to strengthen bilateral cooperation. One of the activities specified in this MOU was to acquire geochronological data via a Geochronology Secondment of GSI officials to GA.Officials from the Geological Survey of India visited Geoscience Australia for a period of 5 weeks in April and May 2025, to conduct geochronological analyses and to exchange knowledge regarding the practical aspects of conducting systematic geochronological and isotopic studies as part of government geological survey programs. This report is a summary of Sensitive High Resolution Ion Microprobe (SHRIMP) zircon U-Pb geochronological results for 9 samples collected from GSI’s Uncover project in the Northern and Southern transects of India Uncover projects in the Aravalli, Bundelkhand and Dharwar cratons of India (Figure i). These studies were undertaken by GSI to explore the possibility of targeting concealed and deep-seated mineral deposits through the integration of geological, geochemical, geochronological and geophysical datasets. SHRIMP trace element zircon analyses were also conducted on the four southern transect samples, the results of which are presented in Appendix A.
