A vision of Security And Intelligence Work From a Constitutional Perspective A study In Light of The Iraqi Constitution In Force For The year 2005

The basis of security and intelligence work at the level of the political system is collection and analysis, and the process of collecting and analyzing information as an intelligence duty has a strategic importance in maintaining security, combating terrorism, and managing security risks and crises. The current era is characterized by the phenomenon of institutions ,as the general policies of contemporary political systems are based on the continuity of state policy and the preservation of its identity, security, and development, which only comes with the presence of great efforts by these institutions to develop development plans and administrative development to establish means of growth and prosperity. Therefore, the role of these institutions is evident in drawing up general policies with future directions in order to maintain economic, social, and security stability, and this requires readiness to face all challenges and the emergence of crises that may confront this stability. The research is based on the hypothesis that “activating the security and intelligence effort within the framework of state institutions is an intellectual and realistic necessity that requires organization, analysis, and taking into account the rights of individuals and ensuring their security within the framework of the rules of national constitutions.”Accordingly, the research was divided into three axes in addition to the introduction and conclusion.
