This study examined the effects of junior golfers’ participation level (intensity, duration, frequency) on participation satisfaction and continuation intention. A survey was conducted with 797 junior golfers using a structured questionnaire. Data were analyzed using exploratory factor analysis, correlation analysis, and structural equation modeling. Participation intensity, duration, and frequency significantly influenced participation satisfaction. Intensity and frequency positively affected continuation intention, while excessive duration had a negative effect. Participation satisfaction also positively predicted continuation intention. Participation intensity and satisfaction are key to promoting sustained engagement among junior golfers. Overlong training may hinder intention to continue, emphasizing the need for optimized training design and satisfaction-enhancing environments.
