Pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) is central to HIV prevention among gay, bisexual and other men who have sex with men (GBMSM), yet real-world uptake remains suboptimal. This project will conduct a scoping review, using the Levesque access framework, to map supply- and demand-side factors influencing PrEP uptake among GBMSM. Following JBI methodology, we will systematically search English- and Chinese-language databases, screen studies in duplicate, and chart data against Levesque’s dimensions of access. The review will describe key determinants, compare patterns between high-income countries and LMICs, and identify evidence gaps to inform future research and multilevel interventions.
