The fast fashion industry faces growing criticism for its unsustainable practices, including environmental degradation and labor exploitation. This paper explores the role of ethical fashion supply chains in transforming industry standards toward sustainability and responsibility. It examines key elements such as sustainable material sourcing, fair labor practices, transparency, and accountability in supply chain management. The study highlights that many fashion brands still adopt sustainability in a superficial manner, limiting its impact on core operations. By integrating ethical practices and leveraging emerging technologies, companies can enhance both operational efficiency and social responsibility. The paper emphasizes the need for a holistic transformation that aligns economic growth with environmental and social considerations. It concludes that ethical supply chain adoption is not only a moral obligation but also a strategic approach for long-term competitiveness, improved brand image, and sustainable development in the evolving global fashion industry.
