The article analyses R. K. Orlova’s love lyrics with emphasis on identifying the specificity of a lyrical heroine’s image acting as an expression of the author’s consciousness in the poet’s lyrics and conditioning the subjective-confessional nature of the works. For the first time, the paper investigates the evolution of the character of a lyrical heroine’s image from the romantic one in early works to wise with experience in later poems. It is proved that boundless and endless female love is the driving principle of Orlova’s lyricism, the main dominant of her lyrical heroine. The article analyses certain aspects of R. K. Orlova’s poetics.
