A Level 1 standing building survey was carried out on 5 September 2025 prior to demolition for new housing. A pre-1st edition OS mill and farm buildings were recorded around a central courtyard. On the W of the building was a horse mill and an aperture was recorded which may have been for the driveshaft mechanism. Two incised stones had been built onto this structure one dated 1756 with initials IG and AB and one with presumably part of a date '76'. A scan of easily accessible documents did not reveal any names which may account for the 1756 stone which is presumably recording a marriage of IG to AB. Alterations took place prior to 2nd Edition OS map including rebuilding the circular horse mill and other alterations and then the buildings were altered through the 20th century with apertures blocked and door increased in size for modern machinery.
