Abstract Guru-Shishya Parampara (Teacher-Disciple Tradition) has been in existence since ancient times in India. So it is an Indian tradition. Also, it follows in other countries in world. This system emphasizes on experiential learning, holistic development, spirituality, philosophical and moral values than actual collection of information. Guru builds right shaping in disciple. The Guru is everything for disciple that is Guru guides about moral, philosophy and spirituality along with imparting knowledge. This Guru-Shishya parampara plays crucial role so that it preserves cultural heritage and traditional arts across all generations. After right guidance from guru, disciple will be perfect and complete. This parampara continues to modern mentorship models like educational and professional. These models have technological tools and collaborative learning environments.
