ABSTRACT THE linear regression is used to describe sprinkler distribution patterns. The linear fit is found to ap-proximate the distribution very well in a wide range. The use of the linear regression allows for additional information regarding irrigation quality parameters. A new coefficient, UCL, is suggested for practical use.
