Abstract This investigation summarizes existing research on peer mediation outcomes in school‐based settings. The meta‐analytic review examines the outcomes associated with incorporating a mediation program to manage school conflict. Results indicate a 93 percent agreement rate and that 88 percent of the participants were satisfied with the agreements reached. The review answers critics and demonstrates the value of school‐based mediation programs.
