Abstract

The article highlights the main milestones of the life and work of Pavel Iosifovich Paderno, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor, who made a significant contribution to the training of highly qualified personnel both in Russia and abroad in specialty 5.3.3. -Labor psychology, engineering psychology, cognitive ergonomics. A brief biography and the main stages of the scientist's life are given. The scientific achievements and merits of the scientist are highlighted and a list of the main bibliographic sources covering more than half a century is given. The approaches developed by the hero of the day related to the ergonomic examination of new equipment are widely used both in the defense industry and in civilian products.
