This toolkit offers a practical and flexible tool to facilitate capacity-building processes related to climate change. It is based on a canvas-style framework that, in addition to helping organize ideas, visualize processes, and connect actions in an integrated manner, is designed as a methodological framework for coordinating participatory human processes related to climate change. Its use spans the entire action cycle: from analyzing, modeling, and identifying the problem, to scaling projects toward implementation, including idea generation, prototyping solutions or projects, in-depth analysis, and auditing processes or results, among many other possibilities. More than a template or closed methodology, this toolkit proposes an adaptable and evolving framework that can function as a catalyst for initiatives, a space for co-creation, or a guide for collective work, depending on the needs and context of application. Its purpose is to build capacity to think about, question, design, implement, and reflect on climate change actions through collaborative, inclusive, and action-oriented approaches. This toolkit is grounded in the theory of socio-technical systems, recognizing that the energy transition requires the management of simultaneous socio-technical transitions. In this sense, this toolkit enables work in interrelated environments where heterogeneous actors, diverse objectives, and capabilities of varying levels and sectors coexist, all of which need to be coordinated in a creative, adaptive, and strategic manner.
