The media innovation of digital media art provides a cross-temporal communication carrier for the inheritance of intangible cultural heritage. VR immersive interactive experience reshapes the inheritance form of traditional handicrafts with an embodied perception mode. As a carrier of national cultural memory and manual aesthetic paradigm, traditional tie-dye crafts are confronted with communication barriers and cognitive faults in contemporary society. From the perspectives of art anthropology and media culture studies, this paper analyzes the practical obstacles in the inheritance of tie-dye crafts, expounds the theoretical basis of digital media art and VR immersive experience, and constructs a theoretical logic adapting virtual interactive scenes to the inheritance of handicraft skills. Based on the academic system of digital protection for intangible cultural heritage, this paper explores the practical paths of VR immersive interaction in the representation of tie-dye craft processes, the translation of tacit knowledge and the reconstruction of aesthetic experience, and sorts out the innovation direction of inheritance modes and the regeneration approach of cultural value empowered by technology. Adhering to the cultural authenticity stance of intangible cultural heritage inheritance, this paper establishes an academic paradigm and practical framework for the digital inheritance of traditional handicrafts, and provides theoretical support and practical reference for the continuation of national handicrafts.
