Abstract

On May 27, 2026, the head of the Department of Pathological Anatomy and Forensic Medicine named after Prof. V.L. Kovalenko at South Ural State Medical University (SUSMU), Honored Scientist of the Russian Federation, Doctor of Medical Sciences, and Professor Yevgeny Leonidovich Kazachkov, celebrated his 70th birthday. After graduating from the Faculty of Medicine at the Chelyabinsk Medical Institute (CMI) in 1979 and completing his residency in oncology, Evgeny Leonidovich worked for five years as a surgeon at the Chelyabinsk Regional Oncology Center.
