Hepatic arterial infusion chemotherapy combined with camrelizumab and lenvatinib in the treatment of advanced hepatocellular carcinoma: A retrospective study.
Retrospective analysis shows effectiveness of HAIC with camrelizumab and lenvatinib in advanced hepatocellular carcinoma, suggesting promising long-term control.
Key Points
This study aims to evaluate the efficacy and safety of hepatic arterial infusion chemotherapy combined with camrelizumab and lenvatinib in patients with advanced hepatocellular carcinoma.
Included 64 patients treated with HAIC, camrelizumab, and lenvatinib at Harbin Medical University Cancer Hospital from November 2020 to February 2023.
Analyzed treatment details, tumor response, survival outcomes, and adverse events after ≥3 cycles of therapy.
Follow-up period averaged 47.8 months.
Overall response rate (ORR) was 65.6% by mRECIST and 59.4% by RECIST v1.1.
1-4 year overall survival rates were 87.2%, 70.4%, 60.2%, and 56.0%; significant survival advantage for patients undergoing curative treatment (P<0.05).
Median progression-free survival was 19.3 months, with comparable event-free survival in patients receiving curative treatment.
