Abstract

This document a technical report that provides the results of a Phase 1 cultural resources investigation including literature search and intensive pedestrian survey, conducted in conjunction with proposed modifications for the Atlas II program at Space Launch Complex 3 (SLC-3) on South Vandenberg Air Force Base (VAFB). The effort discussed in this report included testing and/or evaluation of archaeological sites CA-SBA-534, -537, -549, -680, -1940, -2146, -2147, -2148, -2216, -2423, -2424, -2425, -2426, and -2427.
