The article is devoted to the peculiarities of the development of the modern economy of Kyrgyzstan and the economic processes that determine economic growth and public welfare of the country’s population. It is noted that the restoration of consumer activity is becoming a significant factor in economic growth and has a contradictory effect on the increase and size of GDP.
