The beauty of trumpet coral has become a major attraction for travelers to enjoy the natural richness of the underwater world, making it essential to protect the health and growth of coral reefs—an important task for various stakeholders. This research aims to identify the perceptions of diving center managers regarding the importance of coral reef conservation for sustainable tourism, to understand the perceptions of fishing communities about coral reefs in supporting tourism activities, and to analyze collaboration between stakeholders in coral reef preservation in three locations: Amed, Tulamben, and Padang Bai. A qualitative approach was used through observations, in-depth interviews, and literature studies. The results show that coral reefs in Amed, Tulamben, and Padang Bai demonstrate that community-based approaches can provide a strong foundation for developing marine tourism. Collaboration among local communities, village governments, business actors, and external institutions has successfully created a system that not only protects the environment but also improves community welfare.
