Key Points

  • Global boundedness of solution is established for the quasilinear predator-prey chemotaxis system.
  • The study employs maximal Sobolev regularity methods and a priori estimates to derive the results.
  • Findings partially improve previous results from Wang and Ke, broadening the understanding of such systems.
  • Implications of this work could influence future research on chemotaxis dynamics and related ecological models.

Abstract

This paper deals with the quasilinear predator–prey chemotaxis system with nonlinear indirect signal production under homogeneous Neumann boundary conditions. Based on the maximal Sobolev regularity and a priori estimates, the global boundedness of solution is investigated. Meanwhile, this work partially improves or extends the results of Wang and Ke Acta Appl. Math. 190(2024), Paper No. 9, 14 pp..
