Abstract

Abstract A specific type of high-pressure, oil-free air compressor is the key equipment in a high-pressure air online gas supply system. The fourth stage of a service life’s packing is short, which has a significant impact on the system’s reliability. The optimization strategy for the third and fourth stages of the cylinders in the air compressor is formulated. The optimization effect was evaluated from the aspects of air compressor capacity, discharge pressure, temperature, and vibration, to improve the system’s reliability, based on the analysis of the advantages of the positive differential structure used in the high-pressure stage of the air compressor. The evaluation results indicate that all technical indices of the optimized air compressor meet the design and usage requirements.
