Abstract

In this article, the problem of tolerance development among future psychologists is analyzed. It is noted that the effectiveness of tolerance education in schoolchildren largely depends on the special training of teachers and psychologists. The author justifies the need to solve this problem at the stages of higher professional education. The theoretical foundations of the development of tolerance in future psychologists are considered in the study, based on the theory of pedagogical tolerance of M.A. Perepelitsinoy. Also, practical data were obtained using questionnaires and self-assessment methods, based on the opinions of students and teachers. As a result, it is noted that the education of tolerance plays an important role in the formation of professional competence of students and the need to conduct this process through a value-synergistic approach.
