Automotive display is a critical interface for human-vehicle interaction. To enrich the user experience, the industry has explored a wide range of technologies and showcased novel displays in trade shows, and some are implemented in mass productions. Optical technologies play a critical role in the advancement of in-vehicle infotainment and entertainment systems, making them indispensable in modern automobiles. This paper will provide an overview of the technologies that are driving advancements in automotive displays.
